Selina H forms the other half of the dual guitar attack in the Fever band. Along with guitar, Selina brings some powerful vocals to the table. Like fellow guitarist Madi Dixon, Selina is also a talented songwriter.
How long have you been playing guitar?
For about 7 years, since I was around 14.
What inspired you to take up guitar?
At first I was more of a three-chord folk song player, but then I discovered Led Zeppelin at around 15 and decided I wanted to be like that. From then on I got into everything classic rock and haven’t left that phase since!
How did you learn? Are you self taught, or lessons, or a combination?
I was self taught, but both my parents were musicians, so I got pushed in the right direction by them. I also took the odd guitar lesson and started playing piano when I was five.

Who are your favorite guitarists?
Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Derek Trucks, Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman.
Do you have a favorite guitar solo?
Heartbreaker by Led Zeppelin is a good classic rock solo. All of Riviera Paradise by SRV.
What was your personal highlight of playing Blue Feather?
The audience was great – very supportive. It was also awesome to see Bumblefoot and Bernard Fowler as well as all the other artists.
